The Indonesian Institute of Architects is the only professional architects organization recognized by the Republic of Indonesia. The organization that has been established since 1959 is a non-profit and has more than 18 thousand members throughout Indonesia.
IAI is a member of:

- Architects Regional Council ASIA (ARCASIA)
Therefore, the professional standards and guidelines owned by IAI refer to these international organizations to realize professional standards recognized globally. The Indonesian Institute of Architects has representatives in every Province throughout Indonesia, who are tasked to manage and foster the members in each Province, including in Jakarta.
HDII (Indonesian Society of Interior Designers) founded in 1983 was aimed at promoting the profession and improving the quality of interior design in Indonesia. HDII at present has over 1700 members and 12 chapters nationwide.
