Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS) began as a professional body for Singaporean and Singapore based Interior Designers in 1994, in 2004 it was the leading interior design body locally. As a non-profit organization governed by law, the organization has not only protect the standards of professionalism for Interior Designers in Singapore, but to be able to resolve industry issues. It has a solemn duty to promote the creativity and professionalism of the Singapore Interior Design Industry to the world.
To elevate the Interior Design Industry in Singapore to the highest possible level of professionalism and integrity. SIDS mission is to bring together professionals in the field of Interior Architecture/Design, and to work towards a common goal of raising awareness for good design; in order to create an environment of sharing of ideas and experiences for the benefit of members and the industry. They also aim to mentor and nurture young talent so that they will be able to lead the industry towards greater heights; and to encourage lifelong learning and continual upgrading of skills and knowledge for all members.

Chinese Society of Interior Designers (CSID) was established on May 5, 1979 at Taipei City, Taiwan. Members include both (a) individual members such as excellent interior designers whose design works pass Society’s inspections and examinations and (b) corporate members that engage in the businesses of building materials and equipment. Since establishment, CSID has had significant influences and contributions to Taiwan’s interior designs in the professional and academic arena. CSID has been the only professional association on behalf of Taiwan to participate in a variety of international professional organizations as well as play an active role in renowned organizations. CSID has been the member of IFI since 1995, and is also the cofounder of APSDA, and the key founding member of Taiwan Design Alliance. CSID hosts the annual TID (Taiwan Interior Design) Award, the highest recognition for interior designers of Taiwan, activities such as exhibition to publication, conference, lecture and symposium are also included. Nowadays, the TID Award becomes the most influential award in the greater China areas.

TAID (Taipei Association of Interior Designers) was founded on December 21, 1970. With the mission of "Improving interior design business and decoration projects, coordinating inter-industry relations, and enhancing common interests". The total number of members has so far exceeded 1,400, and it has become the leading interior designers association in Northern Taiwan.

Since the establishment of the TID (Tainan Association of Interior Designers) on May 2, 1981, the members of interior designers and manufacturers in Tainan has reached 400 members. TID aims to build up relationships between the Tainan interior design professionals as well as assist the government in implementing administrative regulations. To improve economic development, coordinate inter-industry relations, enhance common interests, further improve the diverse living environment is the mission of the association.

KAID (Kaohsiung Association of Interior Design & Decoration) was established in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on May 17, 1981, it has hundreds of professional members in the interior design industry. To serve the rights and interests, the association is playing a vital role between the members, the government, and the society.

TAIDD (Taichung Association of Interior Design & Decoration) located in central Taiwan- Taichung, was founded in 1983. TAIDD’s mission is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge and creative design, building up a better living environment for the local consumer. The association issues semiannual magazines as a sharing platform for members to learn and grow. Continue to lead the Central Taiwan designers to step onto the global stage.

Founded in 1983, HDII has now 18 chapters throughout Indonesia with 2000 members. HDII is the only interior design association acknowledged by the government of Indonesia.

The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) or the Integrated and Accredited Professional Organization of Architects (IAPOA), is the professional organization for architects in the Philippines. UAP offers education, government advocacy, community redevelopment, and public outreach to support the architecture profession in the country and improve its public image.
Since its registration, UAP has received many awards, including the highly-acclaimed PRC’s Most Outstanding Accredited Professional-Organization. To date, it is still the first and only APO to win the award eight times in the Award’s twenty five-year history. The award is presented annually to recognize the achievements, services and commitments of the APO to the profession.
The UAP has a roster of membership numbering more than 44,000 or 100% of the total registered architects at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). This number is expected to increase with the advent of the automatic membership clause under RA 9266 and the registration of new board passers of the recent PRC licensure examinations.
The UAP encourages all of its members to engage in providing pro bono services as part of their contributions to the highest aspirations of the architecture profession and the organization in service to society. Through participation in whatever format they may choose, every member of the UAP can support and further the values of the organization in terms of its advocacy for sustainable design and practices, diversity, and elevation of the stature of the profession of architecture in the eyes of the public.
